What we collect
Pikavio has no accounts. The quiz calculates suggestions in your browser without sending answers to an artificial intelligence service. A selection can be encoded in a URL when you share it: do not put personal information in a shared link. There is no contact form; an email link opens your own mail application.
Why we use it and legal basis
We use your chosen preferences to adapt the destination and restore favorites. When enabled, aggregate counters help us understand journeys and navigation problems. The legitimate interest in providing and improving this service is the intended basis under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). You can request further information or object to processing based on that interest. Merchants and our hosting provider also process information under their own policies.
Hosting
Cloudflare Pages hosts this site. Network requests necessarily transmit technical metadata to Cloudflare, including IP addresses, connection headers and the requested URL. A header or homepage search puts the search term in that URL; do not enter personal information in search. Pikavio does not add these to its D1 counters. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes its own processing; the absence of IP addresses in our counter table does not mean the hosting provider receives no request metadata.
Cookies and browser storage
Pikavio’s code does not create cookies. localStorage remembers the destination country and favorite pick identifiers, without an account or synchronization. Clear this site’s browser data to remove them. If counters are enabled, sessionStorage retains only allowlisted source and campaign categories for the session; no individual identifier is created. Your browser may block these preferences without preventing you from reading the guides.
Third-party requests
Nunito font files are served from the site’s own assets: no Google Fonts request is needed. A merchant link does not load the merchant’s site before you click it. After a click, the merchant and, for an actual affiliate link, the relevant network apply their own policies and may set cookies on their domains. Share buttons open the service you choose at your request. Emails are processed by the sender’s and recipient’s mail providers.
Retention
Favorites and destination preferences stay on this device until removed or browser storage is cleared. Session source data expires with the session according to browser behavior. D1 counters, when enabled, contain daily totals by event, source and campaign, never an IP address or user identifier; they remain until deleted by the publisher. Email messages are kept while handling your request and removed when no longer necessary, subject to applicable obligations.
Your rights and complaints
Contact the publisher below to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or to object to processing. Portability applies in the circumstances provided by the GDPR. Aggregate counters cannot identify an individual visit; we will not request an additional identifier to recreate tracking. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority. Do not send an identity document unsolicited: we will request only proportionate information necessary to handle your request.
Optional tools on this build
Anonymous counters are disabled: this build sends no events to /api/event.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled: no token is configured and Pikavio loads no Cloudflare measurement script.
